1882 (1 Feb.) envelope to Georgetown addressed locally, bearing 1c. magenta Second Setting, First Printing Type 26 horizontal pair, [11-12], clearly tied by "philadelphia/b.guiana" double-ring d.s. (Type D3) and showing another strike alongside with arrival datestamp on reverse; the pair with some staining and perforation faults, the envelope with central spike hole and very minor peripheral staining. The earliest recorded date of this cancellation and the only example known on cover. Photo
