Rippon or Bearer on demand the sum of Fifty Pounds', value in black tablet low left, printed serial number, date, manuscript signature low right of J. Booth,
(EPM B202a, Pick 215), in PMG holder 25 Very Fine, minor annotations as to be expected on a high-denomination note of the period. In superb condition for an extreme rarity. All Rippon notes rare; only a few examples of the £50 believed extant and those from one 'find'. A real highlight for any collection
