1897 (18 Feb.) ½c. card (PC3) used commercially to Shanghai cancelled by a part strike of the Local Post c.d.s. in blue showing "18" of date inverted and with a clear strike of Shanghai Local Post arrival (20.2) i the lower corner; there is a clearer strike of the despatch c.d.s. on the reverse; some very light soiling.

A rare and important card used after the Local Post service should have closed with the opening of the Imperial Post Office on the 2nd February. Photo


1897年2月18日煙台寄上海(PC3型)商用半分郵資片， 銷不完整藍色煙台工部雙圈日戳， 戳中日子"18" 倒為 "81" 變異， 片左下角蓋清晰黑色2月20日上海工部到達戳， 片背蓋另一較清晰煙台工部雙圈日戳. 此片為大清郵政於同年2月2日建立後， 煙台工部書信館的運作超過年餘， 故此片屬極晚期使用例， 罕見.
