1897 (30 Jan.) a fine envelope to Ireland bearing 1c. red tied by a fair strike of the Local Post c.d.s. in blue with France "Chine" 25c. tied by "shang-hai/chine" c.d.s. and, on the reverse, a superb strike of the despatch c.d.s., Shanghai Local Post (1.2) and Kingstown arrival (7.3). A fine and important cover used just before the closure of the Local Post system on 2nd February. Signed by Peter Holcombe. Photo

1897年1月30日煙台寄愛爾蘭封， 貼煙台紅色一分票， 銷煙台工部藍色雙圈日戳， 加貼法國客郵25仙， 銷2月4日上海法國客郵戳， 封背除蓋一枚相同的煙台工部藍色雙圈日戳外，另蓋2月1日上海工部轉發日戳， 及3月7日愛爾蘭Kingstown到達戳. 此封寄出時只距離大清郵政2月2日開張之日極近， 而上海各商埠工部書信館於是日後便陸續關閉; 具Peter Holcombe簽署. 源流: 1988年9月"Ming"， 1997年11月Olsson Collection， 2014年1月Elleng O. Eide.
