1893 (24 June) stampless envelope to Shanghai bearing a superb strike of boxed "paid" type PF2 struck in mauve with the Chefoo Local Post dated oval alongside, the reverse with Shanghai Local Post arrival (26.6) and postman's pencil delivery characters. A fine and exceptional example of this Paid handstamp and believed to be the earliest example. Photo


1893年6月24日煙台寄上海無票早期封， 蓋PF2型洋紅色方框 "PAID" 戳， 左旁蓋㰐圓煙台工部書信館日戳， 封背蓋6月26日上海工部到達戳， 旁有郵務員派信記號; 非常早期的煙台 "PAID" 戳無票封使用例， 保存相當不錯.
