1894 (28 Aug.) used locally and bearing a fine strike square Land Post handstamp struck in grey with manuscript date insertion partly overstruck by the circular Hainan Samah handstamp in brownish black and with thimble Hoihow code "C" c.d.s. alongside; vertical fold and slightly reduced at right. A rare and desirable cover and thought to be the latest use of the grey ink. Photo

1894年8月28日海南寄本地封， 蓋灰色海南陸差郵政局雙框方形戳， 内手填日期， 戳的部份被棕黑色圓形海南三亞截所覆蓋着， 旁有帶"C"字海口戳， 封有些少摺痕， 應是灰色雙框方形戳最晚期使用例. 源流: 1990年11月Christopher D'Almade.
