1894 (10 Aug.) Binns envelope registered to Shanghai, a Shanghai 5c. Jubilee stationery envelope uprated with Jubilee ½c. pair cancelled by fine strikes of the double-oval "shanghai l.p.o./swatow agency" struck in purple with manuscript date plus the boxed registered handstamp in the lower corner, numbered "19" and with Capt. Binns private registration handstamps in the top corner and Shanghai Local Post arrival (13.8) on the reverse. A very scarce cover from Swatow. Photo

1894年8日10日汕頭寄上海共濟會俱樂部船長R.A.Binns收的伍仙上海書信館郵資掛號封， 再加貼 "Jubilee" 半仙两枚， 以補掛號封所需六仙郵資之不足， 均銷紫色橢圓形帶手寫日期英文汕頭代辦所戳 (Shanghai L.P.O. / Swatow Agency)， 封左上端蓋Capt. Binns 的黑色大型私人掛號戳， 而左下端則蓋紫色方框型帶手寫編號"19"戳， 封背蓋8月13日藍色上海工部到達戳; 罕見， 為研究上海書信館汕頭代辦所的重要郵政史素材. 文獻: 1981年Charles Dougan著"上海郵政系統"第208頁插圖.
