1892 (June) mission envelope to U.S.A. bearing Shanghai 1890 2c. tied by a good strike of double-circle "local post agency/foochow" cancellation in blue, with Japan Koban 5s. tied by Shanghai I.J.P.O. c.d.s. (8.7) and Normal arrival c.d.s. (7.8) with Yokohama transit (13.7) additionally tying the Shanghai stamp; redirected on arrival, the reverse with Shanghai Local Post (1.7), San Francisco, Normal and faint Moweagua c.d.s.

An important combination cover which is thought to be the earliest use of the Foochow Local Post Agency postmark. Photo


1892年6月福州寄美國教會封, 貼1890年上海工部弐分票一枚, 銷藍色福州書信舘雙圈無日期戳, 另一旁貼日本小判5錢票, 銷7月8日上海I.J.P.O.日戳及8月7日美國Normal 到達戳, 另一旁尚有7月13日橫濱中轉戳, 該信封到達Normal後因故於8月9日再轉送Moweaqua, 並蓋較模糊的到達戳. 相信這個混貼封是福州代辦所最早期實寄使用例, 罕有.
