1854 (21 Dec.) entire letter to Shanghai, marked pr Str Pottinger", bearing 4a. blue and red 2nd printing pair with mainly good margins (right stamp touched at top), both cancelled by diamond of dots, showing manuscript "1/-" with, on reverse, light framed "singapore/Paid" overstruck by Hong Kong transit datestamp; some imperfections to both entire and adhesives which do not seriously detract from the appearance of this rare and important cover.
