balance fine to extremely fine, all unsigned remainders with exception of Stornaway, the skit note (dated 1819) particularly interesting with reference to the reformist politician Sir Francis Burdett Bt. MP, a vehement opponent of Pitt the Younger and arrested in 1810 for 'libelling' the House of Commons, causing public uproar (5)
