This is the most feminine of all her portraits and Portrait Number 8a in the article 'The Portraits of Queen Elizabeth II' by Peter Symes. It appears in this format on the notes of the Bahamas

(Pick 17-41) and Jamaica (Pick 48) African Currency Board but without the shoulders and neckline; also included in the lot is a portrait in black and white of an early portrait of the Duke of Edinburgh in naval uniform, a rare and superb addition to any Q.E.II collection (2)
