1877 (10 Dec,) envelope from Rustenburg to London, bearing 1877 (June) "v.r./transvaal" imperf. 3d. lilac vertical pair neatly cancelled "3", in combination with Cape of Good Hope 6d. violet cancelled with Cape Town datestamp (21.12) tying this and the 3d. pair together and with a further strike below, the reverse with despatch and arrival (21.1) datestamps.
