1818 (Jan.) entire letter from Corfu to England with slits and extensive staining caused by disinfection, rated "2/10" and showing mainly fine "malta" h.s. (MSF-1c); 1830 (1 Apr.) entire letter (light overall discolouration) to Edinburgh, rated "3/5", showing fine light "malta" h.s. (MSF-1c) and Scottish additional "½"; and 1835 entire to London, disinfected by toasting, showing fair "malta" h.s. (MSF-1d; crossed by filing crease) and, on reverse, part "opened & resealed/lazzaretto malta" red wax seal
