1893-99 2r.50 imperforate plate proof in black on wove paper, a block of six (3x2) with sheet margin at top and a horizontal pair; the block with horizontal and vertical creases in the margin and a small thin spot, otherwise fine and rare. Photo

Note: On 17 August 1898, after a lapse of 20 years, the Crown Agents ordered 40 sheets of the 2r.50 value. As the plate had not been used since 1885 a plate proof in black was produced.
