1867 (July) double rate blue envelope from Cape Town to Philadelphia, bearing 4d. blue wing-margin strip of three and a single and 1/- green vertical pair all cancelled with "1" duplex and with London Paid datestamp at foot, arrival datestamp (29.8) on reverse, 1886 envelope from Stellenbosch to Maine bearing ½d., 1d. and 6d. cancelled "13" and with despatch datestamp and "2½d" accountancy handstamp alongside, and 1890 envelope (one corner with small truncation) from Cape Town to Washington bearing 6d. with squared-circle datestamp and "½d" accountancy handstamp alongside. An attractive trio of covers to U.S.A.
