(x) Edward III (1327-77), Noble, fourth coinage, pre-Treaty period, series C, London, 7.72g, crowned King standing in ship, holding sword and shield, rev. i.m. cross pattée, floriate cross, e at centre, trefoils, lions and crowns in angles, reversed ns and annulet stops both sides (Schneider I, 16-18; Doubleday 38/34; N.1144; S.1486), a little doubled on obverse, otherwise a pleasing very fine
