Qajar, Agha Muhammad Khan (1779-97), Rupi, 11.45g, type C, Moqadas Mashhad, AH1211, Zand couplet, rev. mint name and invocation ya muhammad (KM 622.3; A.2844), very fine, rare one-year issue

This coin was one of 30, 000 struck at Mashhad as a tribute to Agha Muhammad who conquered the city from the Afsharids under Shahrukh in AH1211. The city was returned to the Durrani ruler Shah Zaman later that year.
