Apprenticeship Contract
1780 (13 July) small indenture on vellum that John Taylor be an apprentice to William Bothel to learn the trade of a plumber and glazier for a term of three years. Bears two wax seals and 1/6d. revenue stamps and, on the reverse, and unusual 6d. per £1 revenue stamp. Vertical fold but still in a good state of preservation.
