1679 (5 June) warrant from Treasury Commissioners to Sir Robert Howard, Auditor of the Receipt, in printed format with manuscript insertions. The warrant is to draw an order to pay £27 to Richard Twisdell for "quartering several men from Capt. Francis Hawley's soldiers". One of a variety of forms used to pay for the forces. Signed "L: Hyde", "Ed Dering" and "S. Godolphin". A good group of signatures. Photo
