Great Britain: Clayton & Shuttleworth Limited, £5 preference shares, 19[17], #2559, signed by Alfred Shuttleworth as director, red, together with £1 ordinary shares, 19[21], #8321, green. Originally established in 1842 making steam engines and threshing machines. Converted to a Limited company in 1901. Most famous for its steam traction engines the company also made tractors and built many aircraft during WWI, notably the Sopwith Camel. GF and VF (2).
