Mexico: Mexico Tramways Company, 1 share of $100 gold, 19[13], #124754, lovely design by Waterlow & Sons, facsimile signature of F.S.Pearson, electric tram at top left, Metropolitan Cathedral in Mexico City to right, mauve and black, with coupons. Pearson was an American electrical engineer who built a considerable reputation in the field. He built a business empire in North and South America and also founded the giant Barcelona Traction Company. He died on the Lusitania in 1915 when it was torpedoed by a German U Boat during WWI. VF and not cancelled.
