(x) Canada: British Columbia Breweries Ltd., 1 share of $100, 19[13], #C00706, and 5 shares of $100, 19[13], #B00509, lovely vignettes of brewery, river and bridge, ornate border, blue and mauve respectively, no printer's imprint but certainly of Waterlow or Bradbury quality, English duty stamps. Formed in 1912 to amalgamate Vancouver Brewers Limited, Canadian Brewing & Malting Co. Ltd., Pilsner Brewing Co. Ltd., in Northumberland and Union Brewing Company in Nanaimo. Reorganised in 1918 to Pilsner Brewing Company. EF (2).
