Ireland: Parsonstown and Portumna Bridge Railway Company, £10 shares, 186[1], #28, signed by the Marquess of Clanricarde as director. Embossed seal top right, black, together with a related deposit payment receipt, 186[1]. Opened in 1868 but closed in 1878 and the track, buildings and other equipment were removed/stolen by local people and creditors. F-VF and very rare, we believe only 2 examples known, this and serial number 65 sold on Ebay in 2018. Ex Sotheby's 1980, Spink 2014.
