(x) Norway: Hvalfangerselskapet "Polaris", 1000 kroner share, Nanset 1926, #396, vignette of steamship, whales and icebergs, black and blue, 4 pages, several endorsements revaluing the shares to 700 kroner in 1929, 200 kroner in 1933, 100 kroner in 1934. Formed in 1925 by owners of the Globus company to operate whalers in Australian waters for part of the year and the rest of the time in the Ross Sea. Still in existence in the 1940's and probably only wound up when commercial whaling was banned in the 1980's. VF-EF.
