Egypt: Société Belge-Egyptienne del L'Ezbékieh, a good group of certificates comprising ordinary share, #2909 and preference share, #2149, both Brussels 1899, and, 500 franc bond, brussels 1905, #7784, all with similar design of pyramids at bottom, Sphinx at either side, 'Egyptian' border incorporating hieroglyphs, red, green and mauve respectively, all with coupons, small hole cancellations. An urban land and construction company formed in Belgium to utilise part of the Ezbekieh Park which was created in the 1860's. VF-EF (3).
