Egypt: Brasserie Francaise d'Egypte S.A., 500 franc share, Paris 1881, #2833 of 3200 issued, ornate border, black, blue underprint, with coupons. Formed in 1873 by Baron Delort de Gléon (1843-1899) who was also a director of the Alexandria Water Company and founder of the Cairo Water Company. Also a director the Land Bank of Egypt. EF and scarce.
