1893 (1 July) Natal 1d. stationery card from Pietermaritzburg to Nondweni, mis-forwarded to Manderston where it was cancelled and returned to Pietermaritzburg (11.7), then correctly forwarded via Rorke's Drift (13.7), Nqutu (14.7) and struck on arrival with a very fine strike of the rare "nondweni/zululand" oval datestamp (16.7) in violet.
