1937 (13 Oct.) envelope from Copenhagen "per Desoutter Aeroplane from Copenhagen direct" to Cape Town, bearing 1934 Air uncancelled set of five, Ship 1d. cancelled by Cape Town datestamp (2.11) and signed by both pilots; scarce and the item referred to in the Stern handbook. Scarce with only twelve covers carried. Photo

Note: Lt. Hansen of the Royal Danish Air Force took off in his Desoutter monoplane with Aage Rusmussen, a Danish architect and private pilot. . After stopovers in Cairo, Nairobi and Johannesburg he arrived in Cape Town on 29 October
