1931 (10 Aug.) First flight Windhoek to intermediate stop at Karibib, Hotel Thuringer Hof advertising envelope with despatch datestamp on face, arrival datestamp (11.8) on reverse, the flight being delayed for a day to coincide with the arrival in Walvis Bay of the S.S. Wangoni. Very rare. Photo

Note: A few days before the flight it was decided to include stops at Okahandja and Karibib, this decision being little advertised
