1900 (July) Whiteley, Walker & Co. imprint envelope from Bulawayo to "Rev. Boiteaux,Senanga Barotseland", bearing Large Arms 2d. with light datestamp and another strike alongside with "passed/press censor", apparently routed via Kalungula and Shesheke where the end of the address has been initialled "LG" (Louis Jalla) in pencil who acted as acting postmaster at Shesheke and sorted incoming mail, and, according to the late Alan Drysdall, proves the use of the censor handstamp at Bulawayo; vertical crease and a couple of wrinkles though apparently the only recorded incoming cover sent during the Boer War. See Memoir 15 where this cover is illustrated on page 41. Also 1907 bi-lingual Treaty brochure between U.K. and Portugal for "Boundaries in Central Africa (Barotseland)"
