1881 (30 Dec.) commercial envelope from Grove to Georgetown, bearing "2" on Official 12c. emerald-green Type 23 in combination with Postage "1" on 48c. red upper right corner vertical pair, each stamp cancelled by double-ring datestamp, the reverse with despatch and arrival datestamps; two vertical creases clear of the adhesives. A rare early franking of these Provisionals with the stamps only having been issued two days previously. S.G. 152, 157. Photo
