A largely mint collection (316, some multiples up to 46) neatly mounted and largely written-up with details on some Settings, included are First Printing 1d. on 1d. brown used, 1d. on 1d. with wider space between "1" and "d" mint and used, 1d. on 1d. with value omitted and 1d. on 1d. with value over V.R.I., Subsequent printings 1d. on 1d. with no stop after "v" and "i", no stop after "i" and surcharge double, 2d. on 2d. with surcharge inverted, 6d. on 6d. carmine pair, one with level stops, 6d. on 6d. carmine with raised and level stops mixed, 6d. on 6d. blue with no stop after "v", 1/- on 1/- pair with one showing "s" virtually failing to print, 5/- on 5/- handstamped "specimen" and a pair, one with short top to "5", and thick "v" selection to 5/- on 5/- with 1d. on 1d. no stop after "r", no stops after "r" and "i", 2½d. Type a on 3d., 6d. on 6d. carmine (defective) contained in a block of four and 1/- on 1/- vertical pair contained in a block of four; generally good to fine and an interesting lot for further study.
