1894 Pictorial Waterlow sample stamps comprising imperforate 2c. black and sepia block of four, 6c. black and yellow-green and 12c. black and blue-green strips of three, perforated 1c. black and claret, 3c. green and chestnut, 5c. black and greyish blue, 8c. blue and light brown, 18c. black and dull purple and 24c. slate-green and yellow-orange strips of three, all affixed to two pages from a sample book with reference numbers above each; some light soiling in places though a rare group still intact
