1894 (25 Sept.) newspaper wrapper to Switzerland bearing a fine strike of the boxed "paid", fine strikes of Chinkiang despatch c.d.s. in black, Shanghai Local Post (27.9) in blue, with Hong Kong Q.V. 2c. carmine tied by British Post Office Shanghae c.d.s. (27.9) and with Baden arrival (1.11). A fine and rare cover, thought to be the only example of the official mail sent overseas. Photo

1894年9月25日鎮江寄端士新聞封套, 正面蓋方框型郵資已付(PAID)戳, 背面蓋黑色鎮江雙圈日戳, 9月27日藍色上海工部中轉戳, 同日轉上海英國客郵局補貼香港女皇像2仙票, 銷9月27日上海英國客郵局日戳, 及11月1日Baden的到達戳; 保存完好及罕見, 相信是目前唯一的寄往海外的公務郵件._x000D_ _x000D_ 源流: 1992年9月Frederick and Tomiko Barlett; 2008年1月Major Richard Pratt.
