French Post Office: 1895 (3 Jan.) home-made wrapper from an old Local Post Office envelope addressed to Switzerland bearing first issue ?c. tied by "chinkiang/postal agency" circular handstamp with French "Chine" 5c. pair tied by small-size "shang-hai/chine" c.d.s. (5.1) and, on the reverse, a fine strike of the Chinkiang despatch c.d.s., very faint Shanghai Local Post c.d.s. in blue and Baden arrival (9.2). An appealing printed paper rate cover. Photo


1895年1月3日鎮江寄瑞士新聞封套, 貼第一版半分票一枚, 銷鎮江中英文無日期戳, 另一邊貼法國客郵5仙兩枚, 銷上海法國客郵局小圓日戳, 封背蓋鎮江雙圈英文分發日戳, 十分模糊的上海工部戳, 而其上則蓋2月9日的Baden的到達戳; 保存完好.
