1896 (11 June) two philatelic red band envelopes to Shanghai one bearing 1896 2c. green with Chinese characters variety overprint inverted, the second with 10c. pink with Chinese characters; both are tied by Wuhu China c.d.s. with a second strike alongside and Shanghai Local Post arrival (13 6) in blue in the reverse. These overprinted stamps are very scarce on cover. (2 covers). Photo.


1896年6月11日蕪湖寄上海紅條封兩件, 一封貼1896年二分綠色中文倒蓋變體票, 另一封貼一角中文加蓋票, 兩封票上均銷黑色蕪湖信局單圈英文日戳, 及下端有一相同郵戳, 封背均蓋6月13日上海工部藍色到達戳; 罕見的加蓋票實寄封.
