1895 (8 Dec.) opened-out de Villard envelope registered to Shanghai bearing 1895 1c. dull blue (6) tied by Wuhu China c.d.s. in black with the handstruck "Registered No." with manuscript "56"" added in red ink; the reverse with further despatch c.d.s., Shanghai Local Post c.d.s. (10.12) in blue and postman's pencil delivery characters. The wax seal has been excised from the cover and a paper patch repair made. An attractive franking. Signed by Peter Holcombe. Photo


1895年12月8日蕪湖寄上海Villard掛號破剖封, 貼1895年一分暗藍色票六枚, 銷黑色蕪湖信局單圈英文日戳, 掛號戳的編號是手寫紅色"56", 封背蓋另一黑色相同蕪湖信局日戳, 旁有12月10日上海工部藍色到達戳及郵差手寫記錄, 封舌位置的紅漆封泥除去後, 並以一紙片修補, 具Peter Holcombe簽署.
