1895 (28 May) opened-out envelope registered to Shanghai, marked "Per Local Post" and "Registered" bearing third issue 1c. black (6, five are on the reverse) tied by Kewkiang Local Post dated oval in mauve and bearing a superb strike of the boxed registration handstamp numbered "174" also in mauve. The postman's pencil characters are on the reverse and there is a small repaired section of the flap. A rare and desirable cover. Photo

1895年5月28日九江寄上海掛號破剖封, 封面上端有"Per Local Post"及"Registered"字句, 下端有紫色帶手寫編號的方框型掛號戳, 旁貼第三版壹仙票, 黑色一枚, 另有五枚(包含一件四方連)貼於封背, 銷紫色九江工部橢圓形日戳, 封背亦有郵差手寫的郵遞記錄; 封舌有小修補; 罕見及值得珍藏._x000D_ _x000D_ 源流: 2001年11月Charles Goodwyn.
