1895 (7 Apr.) a large "On Her Britannic Majesty's Service" envelope (215x163mm) to the British Consul in Shanghai bearing first issue ½c. grey-black on pink (2), ½c. red on yellow (2) and 1c. (2), each tied by the double outer lined oval dater in purple with serif letters for the date, the reverse with the postman's pencil delivery characters. A very important and dramatic quadruple rate cover which is thought to be the only cover bearing this scarce cancellation. Offered with ½c. red on yellow and 2c. bearing similar postmarks. Photo

1895年4月7日九江寄上海英國領事大型" On Her Britannic Majesty's Service"信封( 215x163mm), 貼第一版灰黑色印於粉紅色紙半分兩枚, 紅色印於淺黃色紙半分兩枚及一分兩枚, 各銷九江工部雙外圈紫色橢圓形日戳, 封背有郵差的鉛筆手寫記錄; 郵資共四分, 超重三碼, 並銷極其罕見的雙外圈紫色橢圓形日戳, 相信是唯一存世蓋銷該型郵戳之實寄封, 品相中上._x000D_ _x000D_ 源流: 2001年11月Charles Goodwyn; 這枚郵戳原型是郵資已付戳, 但將"PAID"改為日期.
