1893 (23 May) commercial envelope to Shanghai bearing Shanghai 1892 2c. green vertically bisected which is tied by double-circle "shanghai/local post" cancellation in blue and with three horizontal blue crayon lines (applied by the Kewkiang post office), the reverse with a fair strike of Kiukiang Customs c.d.s. in red, parly covered by Customs Shanghai c.d.s. (25.5) in black plus Shanghai Local Post c.d.s. (26.5) in blue and the postman's pencil delivery characters. A very important cover used before the opening of the Kewkiang Local Post and sent via the Customs Post to the Shanghai Local Post system (the 1. is for delivery in Shanghai) without the requirement for Customs stamps. 1893年5月23日九江寄上海商業封, 貼半枚(垂直對剖)上海1892年2仙票, 銷藍色上海工部雙圈戳, 另劃三條藍色橫線於票面上, 封背有紅色九江海關戳, 部份給5月25日的上海海關日戳所遮蓋著, 另一旁有5月26日藍色上海工部日戳及郵差鉛筆手寫記事; 一件異常重要的信封, 它實寄於九江工部郵政開辦之前, 而利用上海工部與海關之聯運互遞系統郵遞, 而沒有貼海關郵票, 相信這是利用上海工部與九江海關互遞郵件系統的存世唯一實寄封.
