1894 (c.) a parcel label addressed to a French steamship 'Taiping Men' bearing Chungking second issue 2ca. red-orange just tied by circular Ichang Chinese handstamp in purple (Chungking Transport Company at Ichang) with endorsement indicating that 5 liang 25c. was remitted. An extremely interesting and rare item and is the only recorded forerunner bearing the second issue Chungking stamps. Photo
