8c. on 6ca. brown variety imperforate between horizontal strip of five, a strip of three with interpanneau margin in centre, setting B, left pane [12] with right pane [9-10], cancelled by part Customs Hankow c.d.s. dated 1897 (25 May). Clean and fine. Photo

It appears that this variety originated from two or three original double panes, however, nearly all of the known exmples originate from one sheet which was released from the Hankow post office. Only one complete strip of five has been recorded


洋銀捌分蓋於陸分銀票，棕色橫五連直縫漏齒變體，其內有過橋在連票之間，來自版式B的左格[12]及右格[9-10]，銷漢口1897年5月25日海關日戳，罕見，保存良好_x000D_ _x000D_ 源流：1955年4月H.B.R. Clarke; 這變體連票應來自兩至三張雙格，但卻近乎所知的連票都來自同一張版票，而這版被發現於漢口郵局. 唯一有記錄的完整五連票.
