1ca. to 24ca. set of nine with additional shades of 1ca., 2ca., 3ca. and 5ca., on horizontal or vertical (one 5ca., 6ca., 9ca. and 24ca.) laid paper, some with part sheet margin and 5ca. yellow showing opened-out horizontal pre-printing fold; 12ca. small tear at top, otherwise a fresh and fine lot. The thin paper allows for a sharper printing. These sheets were made by the printers to check for any blemishes or faults on the printing plates


香煙紙初版試色樣票; 壹分銀至貳銀肆分銀，全套樣票九枚，另加不同色調的壹分銀,貳分銀,三分銀及伍分銀各一枚，共十三枚， 印於橫紋或直紋(伍分銀，陸分銀，玖分銀及貳錢銀四分銀)的薄香煙紙上，有些票帶邊紙，除5分銀黃色票有印刷前己存在的摺痕，壹錢貳分銀上部有小裂口外; 整體品相中上._x000D_ _x000D_ 薄紙利於印刷較細緻的圖案，這類紙張一般由印刷公司製造，用以測試印刷品的瑕疵與錯誤.
