Tientsin: 1894 (10 July) double weight envelope registered to Shanghai bearing 3ca. mauve (4) tied by Tientsin seal type X in blue and showing a very fine strike of Tientsin type II "R" in oval struck on red, the reverse with Customs Tientsin type II c.d.s. and Shanghai Local Post arrival. Some even ageing and small water stain at foot. A rare registration handstamp which was employed for a very short time. Photo

天津掛號封：1894年7月10日天津寄上海雙信郵資掛號封，貼三分票四枚，銷天津藍黑色橢圓中文戳，另蓋紅色橢圓掛號戳，封有蓋天津海關二型戳，及上海工部到達日戳，信封底雖有少許水跡，但難得蓋有使用期極短暫的掛號戳，增加了這信封的收藏價值._x000D_ _x000D_ 著作：1987年" The Revenue Surcharges o China，第二卷891頁圖; 據記載這掛號戳只用於1887年3月10日至7月22日之間
