Customs: 1888 (6 July) large part envelope back bearing 3ca. mauve block of twelve cancelled by Shanghai seal in blue and bearing a light and complete strike of the double outer circle "customs/taku" in purple; fragments of other postmarks indicate overseas destination. The block includes clichés 9 and 7 in the lower row, from an unknown setting, possibly either VII, VIII or X. An appealing example of this scarce postmark. Photo


大沽海關：大面積封背，貼三分銀紫色十二方連，銷藍色上海郵戳，另蓋完整紫色外雙圈大沽海關戳，另有些不完整的外地郵戳，這方連的底行屬未知的版式子模9及7，(可能是第七或第八版式); 蓋銷這類罕見郵戳的難得㤡子.
