Elizabeth I (1558-1603), Half-Pound, Mestrelle's milled issue, Tower, 5.13g {79.2gns}, m.m. lis, crowned bust E left, wearing decorated bodice, rev. crowned square-topped shield dividing cypher (Borden and Brown 6, obv. 1/rev. 1; Schneider I, 760, same dies; N.2019/4; S.2543), pierced, plugged and tooled at mintmark and edge furling having been extracted from a ring mount with resultant past cleaning to fields, otherwise struck details about very fine, and thus an excellent opportunity to acquire a sound type coin of this rare issue from a monarch notoriously hard to collect in gold
