Charles II (1660-85), Crown, 1662, first laureate and draped bust right, rose below, rev. first crowned shields cruciform, 10 strings to harp, cypher in angles, +*decvs et tvtamen closely spaced on edge (ESC 340 {15A}; S.3350), curious but competently rendered graffiti: 'd-i' between edge lettering, otherwise fine or near so with scratches in centre of reverse
