(x) Edward VI, in the name of Henry VIII (1547-53), Sovereign, 12.25g, Tower, m.m. lis, crowned King seated facing on throne, holding sceptre to left and orb to right, rose below, rose stops, Roman lettering, rev. crowned shield with supporters, hr monogram in cartouche, (N.1863; S.2389; Schneider 642, Whitton pl.1/2), a light cross scratched to both sides and of 'water worn' appearance, the legends otherwise quite struck up, fine to very fine, very rare
