Zanzibar, British Protectorate, Sultan Ali Bin Hamud (1902-11), AE 10 Cents, 1908, Heaton (KM 9; Sweeny-ZZ3), extremely rare, in NGC holder, graded UNC-Details, 'environmental damage'

According to James Sweeny's book, "A numismatic History of the Birmingham Mint," none of the 1908 Zanzibar series (1, 10, and 20 Cents) were released into circulation. Remick estimates that between 20 to 60 pieces of each are now in existance.
