Julius Caesar, 48-47 BC, AR Denarius, 3.61g, military mint travelling with Caesar, female head (Clementia?) right, wearing oak wreath, iii behind, rev. trophy of Gallic arms, axe surmounted by an animal head right, caesar below (Craw 452/2; RSC 18; Syd 1009), slight porosity on obverse and a minor striking split at 1 o'clock, nonetheless toned, good very fine, reverse better
